HOST A SCREENING IN YOUR AREA!
For the first time, Major League Baseball stars have stepped out publicly in a feature film to share how their
Catholic faith has shaped their careers and guides their lives. This Summer Only, at the height of baseball season
we are offering parishes, schools and organizations the opportunity to screen the film for your groups.
You must pay a licensing fee to show the film publicly.
FIND A LOCAL VENUE LIKE A LARGE PARISH HALL OR SCHOOL - There are two options here:
- Buy DVD’s in Advance to sell at the event and keep 50% of the proceeds. We will sell you the DVD’s in boxes of 100 for $10.00 each. By selling these DVD’s at $20.00,
you earn 50% of sales. You must promote the DVD sales on your own.
- No Risk DVD Sales at the Screening. Sell tickets to your event or take up a free will offering. Champions of Faith staff will attend the event, help you promote it and bring
DVDs at no cost to you. You will receive 10% of the sales and the Champions of Faith team will inspire the group to purchase large quantities for evangelization.
(This option has resulted in the most sales for the DVD.)
- RESERVE A LOCAL THEATER TO SHOW THE FILM
Work with a local movie theater to reserve a summer date for a non-profit cost or in some cases theaters will provide space for free for churches. THE FILM IS
GORGEOUS ON THE BIG SCREEN. Champions of Faith staff will come to the event, introduce the movie and explain ways to use this film for greater
evangelization and earn money for diocesan education funds. We will also provide DVDs for sale at the event. If you charge a ticket price or take up a free-will
offering, Champions of Faith will give you 10% of the DVD sales. If you do not charge for the event, Champions of Faith will give you 25% of the DVD sales.
- MAKE IT A HALF DAY EVENT – SCREENING OF FILM AND TALK
Tom Allen, Executive Producer and Director of Champions of Faith or John Morales, Writer and Narrator of the Film can provide a talk along with the screening
of the film. Tom Allen can speak on the impact films like this can make in the culture, the behind-the-scenes account of this film’s production or why this film responds
to a principle crisis in the Church – the lack of spiritual leadership among men.
Champions of Faith is sure to greatly enhance activities this summer in your diocese. It’s baseball season and there are
